This November 13, 2010, 2 respected professional world boxers will clash in the arena for the vacant WBC Super Welterweight title. The belt was vacated by current undisputed Middleweight Champion Sergio Gabriel Martinez.
Antonio Margarito will face his toughest rival yet. He recently won against Roberto García for the WBC Light Middleweight title, but was defeated by Shane Mosley for the WBA World Welterweight title. Still, his victory against Miguel Cotto via TKO for the WBA Welterweight title earned him a huge opportunity to face the king of pound-for-pound.
Based on stats and previous boxing records, Manny Pacquiao is far more superior than Antonio Margarito. Margarito's chances of winning this match is quite a blur. He's a strong and tough opponent for Pacquiao, but he will surely go down via knock out and I'm pretty sure of this prediction.

ReplyDelete41,000 is a very big crowd, but this might say something, particularly about Antonio Margarito and the matchup in general. We got a good fight last night, but maybe this replacement for Floyd Mayweather Jr. just wasn't up to snuff for most fans, and maybe Margarito doesn't have the mass backing that they thought he still had from the Mexican audience.
