Nadal Grabs Seventh Victory at the Monte Carlo Open

Clay tournament has been dominated by the Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal for years and now he's up to getting his seventh victory at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Open. The much loved title has been on his possession since 2005 until this year.

Fellow Spaniard David Ferrer wasn't able to block his way this year as Nadal finished the game with the official score of 6-4, 7-5. "Rafa is incredible on clay. I mean, he's everywhere at the same time. He's the best player on clay in history," Ferrer told the tournament's official website. He last faced Nadal at the Rome Masters last year where he was defeated as well.

"It's really emotional and unbelievable for me," said Nadal. " To start the clay season like this is fantastic, but it is fantastic winning Monte Carlo another time. Probably is a tournament that in the category of ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments is the one that I feel more emotional when I am playing for the history of the tournament because here in 2003 everything started," he added.

It has been his first major win since October at the Japan Open and this recent victory just proved that he has been the dominating the clay tournament. It doesn't matter if he obtained blistered forehand at the of the game. What matters most is that he sealed in the win.
